Moomba Boats Earns 7th Consecutive Customer Service Award

Moomba Boats @MoombaBoats is being recognized for outstanding customer service for the 7th year in a row with the 2012 Marine Industry CSI Award from NMMA.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) announced Moomba Boats as a recipient of the 2012 Marine Industry CSI Award today. That makes it 7 years in a row for this performance oriented “No Worries” water sports boat brand. Moomba Boats, is the only value-class inboard wake boat brand recognized on its own for excellence in customer satisfaction, as part of NMMA’s Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) program.

Birth of a Moomba Legend: Mojo Build Day 8

Moomba Boats @MoombaBoats is digitally chronicling the first production build of the new Mojo 2.5 wakeboard boat with daily build photo posts. This series of blog posts and photo gallery will illustrate the superior production processes that make a Moomba boat.

Finally this new Moomba wide-bow wake boat made it to Final Finish. On Day 8 the Mojo 2.5 spent its last day in the factory. Seat cushions were installed along with finishing touches like the Moomba Chrome Graphics Package. Many manufacturers call this stage of production Quality Control or QC, but with a Moomba boat QC is performed as a part of every production step. Final Finish is no exception.

Birth of a Moomba Legend: Mojo Build Day 7

Moomba Boats @MoombaBoats is digitally chronicling the first production build of the new Mojo 2.5 wakeboard boat with daily build photo posts. This series of blog posts and photo gallery will illustrate the superior production processes that make a Moomba boat.

The seventh day of production for this new Moomba wide-bow wake boat was lake test. On Day 7 the Mojo 2.5 was tested in a tank at the factory to make sure all of the high risk operating systems were functioning properly and then the boat was towed to the lake for in-depth on-water testing. The first production Mojo hit the water for the first time and ran perfectly!

Birth of a Moomba Legend: Mojo Build Day 6

Moomba Boats @MoombaBoats is digitally chronicling the first production build of the new Mojo 2.5 wakeboard boat with daily build photo posts. This series of blog posts and photo gallery will illustrate the superior production processes that make a Moomba boat.

Yesterday was the sixth production day of this new Moomba wide-bow wake boat. In the second day of the rigging process, the Mojo 2.5 deck receives interior lean backs and side panels, the aluminum pylon bracket, finished dash wiring, stereo components and wiring, navigation light, cup holders, grab handles and it's Oz Tower. The hull gets everything from carpeting to an Indmar engine to to a fuel tank to a completely fastened deck. The Mojo has a lot going on at this stage of production.
